Celebrating, learning and serving Christ since 1767
1767!!! Yes, that’s a long time. In fact, one of our members often jokes that it’s “almost as long as the preacher’s sermon on Sunday.” But no one really pays him any mind. While we often smile about how we still beat the Baptists to lunch, the truth is that most of our members don’t care about that. In fact, after worship, you’ll find most of them hanging out in the courtyard talking, carrying on and enjoying both the camaraderie with one another and the beauty of the natural surroundings.
Our worship services are currently both virtual and in-person. Whether you’re a full-fledged member or a first-timer, you’re always welcome. We strive to ensure that each Sunday is firmly focused on our congregation enjoying the love of God through our traditional worship services (based on the lectionary passages for the day), which feature thought-provoking sermons, inspirational music and instant fellowship.
Months that have a fifth Sunday offer us the opportunity to “worship in a different way.” Most recently, our PPC musicians led us in a Bluegrass service of worship. Dialogue sermons, one act plays with songs and hymns not in our regular hymn book broaden our experience of worship and let us celebrate a little more freely.
So don’t be a stranger. We’ll be waiting for you. Worship with us virtually by clicking here.
