Blue Christmas Service
Sanctuary at 6:00 pm
During the Advent season, we proclaim and celebrate that Jesus is the light of the world. As people of faith, we anticipate the coming of Jesus’ light into the world, but we also know that there is darkness in the world and in our lives. Christmas is a difficult time for people who are grieving and hurting. The Blue Christmas worship service is a time to acknowledge the dark places in our lives and to look forward together to Christ’s coming light.Christmas Eve Worship

Ash Wednesday Service
Sanctuary at 7:00 pm Marks the beginning of Lent
Lent is the 40-day season beginning on Ash Wednesday, during which we prepare ourselves for the events of Holy Week. This is that last week of Jesus’ earthly life which begs for preparation so we don’t miss what God is doing when Jesus enters Jerusalem, celebrates the Passover with his disciples, is arrested, convicted, crucified—and then on the third day, is risen. What is going on? How do we prepare for THAT? Prayer, fasting, alms-giving, reflection are four classical ways to do so. Join us on Ash Wednesday to prepare ourselves for the season of Lent.Maundy Thursday
Fellowship Hall at 6:00 pm
We worship in the Fellowship Hall beginning at 6 pm. This is liturgical service recalling Jesus’ last supper with his disciples and the “love command” that he leaves with them. We too will share in a simple meal and celebrate the Lord’s Supper around our tables.Tenebrae/Good Friday
