Prayers of the People by Grace McBride
and The Lord’s Prayer

Thank you, O Lord, for allowing us to come together today in your house. We are grateful you have made each of us different and you have a definite purpose for each life. You know the pain each suffers, the dreams each dreams. The encouragement each possesses and shares it.

You have declared we are your children and our prayers are today for each individual worldwide.  Many are homeless from weather conditions, war that is unnecessary, uncontrollable emotions, We pray Dear Lord, there can be changes for the better in all of these circumstances.

Heavenly Father, we do pray for our nation, our leaders on the national level as well as on the local levels. May their leadership be done with honesty and sincerity.

For our church O, Lord, we pray for your continual guidance and blessing every day in its ministry, especially in its search for personnel.

This we pray today that we all will listen when you whisper and when you roar

as we pray together …Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.  Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.
