Prayers of the People and the Lord’s Prayer

Our loving God,   we come to you seeking hope for those who are feeling despair and loss. Bring comfort to those who mourn.  From the depths of our souls we cry out to you for answers and guidance in making decisions.  The battles that wage within us often block out the peace that you give . Help us to know your mercy and wisdom.

Many are without jobs.  We ask your blessings on them as they look for work. Some feel the sting of injustice and hatefulness.  We pray that wrongs will be made right and gentleness replace unkindness. The ones who are facing lengthy illnesses need caring people and treatment for healing.  Please provide those avenues for restoring health.

Thank you for loving us and sending your son to give the world and each of us a new creation.  In  Jesus we know  that you love us beyond measure. Your grace is for us to accept and we are thankful. Hear us now as we pray …) Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever.  Amen.
