As music director, Todd loves leading the Providence Presbyterian chancel choir and handbell choir in weekly worship, and enjoys the community and family atmosphere that surrounds these two groups. Todd is passionate about offering music opportunities to build relationships with church members and people in the surrounding Charlotte community.
Todd Barnhill is a native of Tabor City, North Carolina, and is a classically trained vocalist and choral director. Todd was a Metropolitan Opera District first place winner twice and performed across the U.S. as a soloist with major opera companies. Todd was educated at East Carolina University (BM in Vocal Performance) and the University of Tennessee (MM in Vocal Performance) where he was recognized in the Higher Ground magazine for exceptional vocal talent.
When Todd’s not at church, he helps his wife Aimee run her Etsy business, directs the North Mecklenburg Community Chorus, loves running, and plays with his two incredible daughters Berkeley and Cobie.
You can reach Todd by e-mail here. Choir and Handbell rehearsals are on Thursday evening.
